Spotlight on Redevelopment and Gentrification

Jersey City is the fastest growing city in New Jersey as more people, priced out of Manhattan and Brooklyn, make their way here for more affordable housing and space.  Everywhere you turn, there is building and construction– whether it’s a new tower rising or an old building getting remodeled.  This is a special issue on the city’s gentrification.  These stories were reported, written and produced by the 2016 Multimedia Reporting Journalism students at St. Peter’s University.
