Popularity in Jersey City Tattoo Shops are on the rise!

Jersey City’s art scene is thriving now more than ever. There are beautiful hand painted murals on the walls downtown near Grove Street and the people themselves are also walking Picasso’s.

Tattoos are all the rave. From the young to the old, it seems as though everyone has at least one tattoo. Tattoo shops are popping up all over the Jersey City scene. If you’re thinking of getting a tattoo now is the time. Fall and winter are the best time of year to get a tattoo; there are no harmful sunrays to obstruct your tattoo from healing and the cool air helps new tattoos dry out and heal to preserve your tattoos, according to Karen L. Hudson, author of Living Canvas: A Complete Guide to Tattoos, Piercings, and Body Modification.

Most Saint Peter’s students are 18 years and older and no longer need consent to get a tattoo. Many students stumble upon one of the most popular tattoo shops in Jersey City, Body and Soul Tattoo Shop. This shop has been in operation for over 10 years. The body art produced at this shop is simply amazing. Body and Soul is home to 5 tattoo artist and 1 professional body piercer. For small tattoos, (about a standard business card in size) the price varies, but it’s usually around $70. The larger of a tattoo, the more money you will pay, but how can you put a price on art you can treasure forever.
