Lunch at Cafetasia in “The Village”, Lower East Side

Cafetasia is almost too good to be true. This place combines the flavors of different Asian cuisines. They offer lunch special EVERYDAY, Sunday-Saturday from 11AM-4PM! For $8 we get an appetizer AND an entrée. Here’s the full lunch menu.

I started off with the Petite Cheese & Crab Rangoon. It was crunchy on the outside and full of soft crabmeat tucked in cheese on the inside, and the sweet-chili dipping sauce was the perfect icing on the cake.

Next I chose a simple Teriyaki Stir-fried chicken over mixed vegetables and steamed rice. Once again, no complaints at all, the chicken was tender and the veggies were crisp.

The perfect spoonful of rice, chicken, cucumber, snowpea, mushroom, and carrots.

And I washed it down with a Lychee mimosa, where sparkly champagne and Lychee juice joined forces to create this perfect cocktail.

My favorite part, I saved the best for last.
