It is safe to say that feelings are mixed when it comes to undocumented or illegal immigrants coming to the United States. The truth is, many undocumented people who make it to the United States are risking their lives and their freedom in hopes for a better life.

We spoke to a non-profit organization that provides help and services for the undocumented. While visiting, we met Edgar Salazar, a young man who was recently emancipated from detainment. We also spoke with Christian Ugaz, a sophomore attending Saint Peters’ University, who spoke about the trials and tribulations of attending college as an undocumented student.
